2 Years of Steroids Results, Pictures and PCT Overview

For a bit of background info, I started my first cycle when I was 19 years old and had been lifting for about 8-9 months. I blasted and cruised for 2 years before attempting to PCT and just got my blood work back. During my first year, I could be considered the poster boy for irresponsible steroid use. I never got bloods, I didn’t cruise for nearly enough time, my diet was horrible, I didn’t do cardio, and I used way higher doses than I needed, especially since I was completely DYEL when I began. My second year was much more responsible. I do daily cardio, my diet is extremely clean, and I significantly lowered the doses.

Edit: I’m not interested in talking about how I looked like shit when I started, I hopped on too early, etc. I’m well aware. I’m posting this mainly to give an example of a successful PCT after a long B&C because there are so few out there.


Note: I cruised on anywhere from 50 mg test/wk to 200 mg test/wk throughout this time.
Blast 1: My first blast was the basic beginner cycle. However, it was under dosed. I would be shocked if I was above cruise levels during that time. I ate at 500 calorie┬ásurplus and didn’t notice any faster muscle growth than when I was natural.

Week 1-18

Blast 2: I regret this blast the most because the doses were significantly too high for what I needed, especially since this was during the time where I ate like shit. I ate at a +1500 to +2000 calorie┬ásurplus (inspired by the dirty bulk story – and what do you know, it’s not true). As you’d guess, I got fat as fuck and went from ~172 at 6’2″ to ~235 lbs. I did get some solid gains.

Blast 3: Once again, the doses higher than I needed, but they weren’t as bad as blast 2. This blast was very short because I bailed after mimicking my +1500 calorie┬ásurplus of the last blast and realizing I was going to get fat as shit again. I decided to cut down on a cruise. This is when I began being a “responsible steroid user.” I started to get bloods, do cardio, actually cruise for more than two weeks, and lowered the doses.

Blast 4: This was my final most successful (due to nearly perfect diet and sleep habits) and responsible blast. If I ever use steroids again, I would mimic this. The 4 weeks of Tren A in there is because I bought a single vial to try it out. This is the blast where I could confidently say I new what I was doing in all aspects of gear, training, sleeping, and diet. This is the knowledge I should have had before beginning use.

Here is my training split I am currently on and that I used during PCT. During blasts, I did the same exercises, but instead of 8-12 sets per muscle I would do about 20. I’ve done the nearly the same exercises during this two year period, but I used to run PPL, now I do Chest/Back Arms/Shoulders Legs/Abs. It’s the same stuff, the days are just switched around. I take Sunday off. I try to do 30 minutes of cardio per day, but I probably average about 20.

I’ve been maintaining at 3200-3300 calories per day for the last few months. My diet is the same regardless of bulk/cut/maintain, I just change the amounts.

  • Meal 1: 3 cups oats + fruit + 2 cups milk OR 2 cups oats + 5 tbsp natural peanut butter + 1 cup milk
  • Meal 2: Protein bar and 3 servings of peanuts or cashews
  • Meal 3: Chicken + mixed vegetables + rice/sweet potato/potato/quinoa/couscous
  • Meal 4: Chicken + mixed vegetables + rice/sweet potato/potato/quinoa/couscous
  • Meal 5: Shake with 1 cup milk, 1 tbsp flax seed oil, banana, protein powder, and strawberries

If I need more calories, I’ll either eat some cheese/nuts or drink some milk.
Macros are about 210 grams of protein, 90-120 grams of fat, the rest are carbs. I try to hit 1 gram of protein/lb and then have 20-35% of my calories come from fat.

PCT/Recovery Protocol

The Nolvadex, Clomid, and HCG were pharmacy grade.
